Minicon

• Minicon is a progestin-only pill (POP), which is suitable for lactating mothers.
• Presence of estrogen in contraceptive pill would suppress production of mother’s milk and consequently was not recommended for lactating mothers. On this background, SMC introduced Minicon, a progestin-only oral contraceptive pill, which is suitable for lactating mothers.
• Each blister of Minicon contains 28 hormone tablets
• Each pack of Minicon contains a blister with an insert (instruction sheet).
