Cologne by Roger & Gallet, Wearers of Open will delight in its

mingling of these aromas, the 1985 fragrance reveals refreshing, bitter

It opens with Amalfi lemon paired with bergamot and enhanced by the

clean, calming essence of lavender. The heart features a green blend of

sage and thyme, which impart an earthy warm feel. Base notes of

patchouli, vetiver and tobacco lend an exotic touch while allowing the

scent to last for hours. French perfume label Roget & Gallet

released its first fragrance, Jean Marie Farina Extra Vieille, in 1806.

Founder Jean Marie Farina inherited the perfumery trade and family

business from his uncle, producing fragrances and perfumed soaps until

selling the company to its next pair of owners in 1862. To date, the

label has produced more than 40 scents.
